FlexiTab XL
With the FlexiTab XL from Röltgen, tablets with up to 3 layers can be compressed for galenics, research and development, but also for small-scale production.
The FlexiTab XL® single-stroke tablet press is distinguished from rotary and eccentric presses by its high flexibility. Its ideal field of application is galenic development and small batch production.
All common tablet shapes can be produced with the FlexiTab XL® without any problems, including single-, double- and even triple-layer tablets with different layer thicknesses. Performing initial compression trials with a new granulate and optimising them can be greatly simplified and accelerated with the FlexiTab XL® and its various options, such as compression chamber coating or measurement data acquisition.Thanks to a pressure cylinder, the FlexiTab® software and the PLC control, the press is not bound to fixed production cycles and primarily compresses under force control. The FlexiTabXL® thus compensates for the biggest disadvantages of an eccentric press.
The process speeds can be varied by different setting parameters. This enables, for example, a slow deaeration of the granulate or a fast unloading of the finished tablet. Special sequences in the compression cycle can thus be developed according to customer requirements.
