There are two possible control options: 1. 4000 series touchscreen controller (as a stand-mounted controller or integrated controller) 2. PC software with traceability features (traceability & camera systems) The type of controller is dependent on the relevant area of application for the dot peen marking machine. If the machines are used as stand-alone machines (BenchDot & PortaDot), a 4000 series stationary controller is normally used. In the case of machines that are integrated into production plants, a better solution is the 4000 series integrated controller or, depending on the type of application, no controller is used and the dot peen marking machine is controlled using PC software instead. Touchscreen controller: The 4000 series touchscreen controller has a generously sized 10.4” touchscreen display. The user can easily navigate through the menus thanks to the clearly designed menu structure for the control elements and also has access to a screen keyboard. Short video tutorials on the various themes are quickly available to provide assistance. 40 lines and a maximum of 100 characters per line can be used to create a layout for various different markings: real text, data matrix codes, real times, real dates, serial numbers and logos in straight, curved and angled forms. (Please refer to the relevant page for each machine for more information on the font types and heights.) Every line can be individually adapted and can contain different line content, which can then also be linked together again to generate e.g. a data matrix code. Logos available in the form of a plotter file (.plt) can be easily loaded onto the controller via a USB stick. The size of the logo is then adapted to the specific requirements of the individual layout. We would be delighted to assist you in creating your logo. In addition, the controllers have various pluggable I/O modules (optional). The stand-mounted controller from the 4000 series supports up to 2 I/O modules. A total of 16 inputs / 12 outputs. The integrated controller from the 4000 series supports up to 4 I/O modules. A total of 32 inputs / 24 outputs. MARKTRONIC 4000 CONTROLLER PC software: The Windows software, which has adopted many features from Microsoft Office and is thus very user-friendly, enables users to handle more complex applications. Traceability software: Traceability software from Röltgen enables manufacturers to log all of the scanned workpieces and link them in assemblies. The software is ideal for tracing individual components in large assemblies so that product recalls and the tracing of product defects can be carried out in a quick, efficient and cost-effective manner.
